Hi all,
As all of you are fully aware, we are now in lockdown and the ECB in accordance with the UK Government have suspended all recreational cricket. I understand because of this, you may not want to pay your memberships. However, your club still needs to carry on and costs that we incur during the year have not been suspended. For example, we still need insurance and this has already been renewed at a cost of £1,500.00.
As your chairman, I am asking if we all could contribute 35.00 each, towards the club. This would give your club the buffer it needs to survive this period. If we do get a chance to play cricket in 2020, then would do a pro rata on the membership fee that is due and of course deduct this 35.00.
Any help you can give your club during this time, will be gratefully appreciated.
Thanks and please stay safe.
Ian
